If your DJI Ronin gimbal cannot be charged or its power indicator does not light up, you can read this article for reference.

1. Make sure that the output power of the charger is equal to or lower than the recommended power.

DJI RS 3 Mini: Fast charging is not supported. The recommended power is 10 W (5V, 2A).

DJI RS 3: It is recommended to use a charger that complies with the PD or QC 2.0 fast charging protocol and has a charging power of 18 W or less.

DJI RS 3 Pro: It is recommended to use a charger that complies with the PD or QC 2.0 fast charging protocol and has a charging power of 24 W or less.

DJI RS 2: It is recommended to use a charger that complies with the PD or QC 2.0 fast charging protocol and has a charging power of 24 W or less.

DJI RSC 2: It is recommended to use a charger that complies with the PD or QC 2.0 fast charging protocol and has a charging power of 18 W or less.

DJI Ronin-SC: The charger can be a 5V/2A charger.

DJI Ronin-S: It is recommended to use a charger that complies with the QC fast charging protocol and has a charging power of 24 W or less.

2. Check whether the ambient temperature meets the requirements for charging.

The recommended ambient temperature for charging is 5°C to 40°C (41°F to 104°F).

3. Press the power button to check whether the power indicator lights up:

If the battery is new, it is recommended that you charge it for at least 10 minutes before you power the gimbal on (this does not apply to DJI RS 3 Mini).

4. Check whether the battery level is higher than 95%.

If you start charging when the battery level is higher than 95%, it is normal that the battery does not charge. You can disconnect the charging cable, wait for a minute or use the gimbal until the battery level decreases to lower than 95%, and then charge the gimbal again.

If you have removed the battery from the hand grip, and then re-installed it and tried charging again, but it still did not charge, we recommend that you Request Repair Service Online to send the gimbal to the after-sales service center for inspection.
